Country Run

I needed to run my long run while on vacation. But I don't know the area and roads. So I asked Jon to join me on his bike. Since he was tired from his ride up the mountain the day before, I knew he wouldn't mind riding slow. Turned out to be a really good thing when my gps watch died. His cycle computer came in very handy in tracking my mileage and keeping me on pace.

The road we ended up taking was a neat country road. I ran past cows, country homes off dirt roads, old cars rusting by the train tracks, a tiny white church, and so many one lane bridges that I lost count.
It was a beautiful run that I enjoyed sharing with my sweet, patient husband.

These two bridges were incredibly close.
