Crazy Hair Lady

I'm not sure why, but I'm really enjoying the crazy hair. I started out with purple (in case you missed that blog).

But it faded rather quickly. While I liked the faded color and felt that it faded nicely, it happened to quickly.

So when my hair dresser told me of the different options to chose from, I chose a crazy color again. Apparently when you have purple in your hair, you can't go back to the brown with highlights that I'd previously been sporting. You have to gradually work your way back.

So here is my redish/hot pinkish hair with purple highlights. =)

The red is showing the most in this first picture, but there are elements of hot pink and she didn't color any of the purple highlights that were left from last time.

 Ironically enough, Jon and I both like this color even more than the purple. So if it fades nicely, I'm considering doing this one again.

Someone mentioned that I was a quiet crazy chick and someone else asked if I was a closet hippy. So apparently my crazy, all over the place, bi-polar personality has not been showing all of its sides until now - with my hair. =D

Purple

I've never been very fond of lots of attention. It unnerves me and makes me uncomfortable. I get horrible stage fright, lose my train of thought if more than a couple of people are looking at me, and feel very awkward when someone compliments or thanks me for something.

So why in the world I thought this would be a good idea is beyond me.

In fact, I'm already nervous about going out in public. Not because I think it looks bad. I love it!!! But I'm honestly hoping no one notices. I did this for me. My two favorite colors are blue and green. But I was a little afraid I'd come away looking like a sick leprechaun, so I went with my next favorite color - purple/lavender. I really, really like it. I'm just hoping that for the next few weeks, my friends turn color blind. =)

A fashion stylist once spoke at a meeting I attended. She made the comment that if you love something wear it. It doesn't matter if you are six or sixty, if you love something and can wear it with confidence then it will look good on you. And I love, love, love my hair color right now!

So here goes nothing!

 This last picture has been edited a tiny bit. So reality is more purple than pink.

A Favorite Picture of You

Well I have a favorite picture of my husband and I that I love and keep beside my bed. But I couldn't find it.

 I got my hair colored on Friday and am actually happy with how it turned out this time. So I thought I'd take a picture and use that. It isn't a favorite, but I do like the color.
