Another update on my friend Christine.
Dear Family and Friends,
Elizabeth Joan Neall is now just over 1 month old and is a healthy baby girl. When we took her to the pediatrician she said that she tried real hard to find something wrong but couldn’t find anything. She is now over 10 lbs and growing by the minute. We are so thankful for the Lord’s mercy in a safe and full-term delivery and now for a healthy baby. With all that both mother and fetus have been through it is a miracle for which we are so grateful. Elliot loves his little sister and often smothers her with hugs and kisses.
We have just gone back up to the NIH for our first visit after the delivery. This time they were able to use the gadolinium contrast agent which they did not want to use before due to the potential affects it may have on the fetus. It reveals more details regarding the nature of the tumor that is left. However, the Dr. said that everything still looks stable and the gadolinium did not reveal any new growth or developments in the area. We are again so thankful for the Lord’s healing mercy in keeping the tumor stable. The Dr. was comfortable to allow Christine to continue to breastfeed Ella for a few more months before proceeding with treatment options. So life will continue on as normal for a few more months though normal means adjusting to a life with two kids now. J Ella was a great traveler while in the plane but after finally arriving at James and Trenise’s she didn’t settle down until after midnight.
So for the most part the visit was uneventful except for a late, bumpy and delayed air flight on the way home to Little Rock. But at least it rocked little Ella to sleep even while it gave us butterflies. We are thankful we can fly out one day and back the next.
Please pray for the Lord’s continued intervention in the process and guidance in treatment. We have seen his hand continuing to provide for our needs and we are so grateful for his mercy. Thank you each for your prayers.
Love Rob, Christine, Elliot and Ella
