This trip made me wish for a better camera. My uncle got to the falls and realized that he didn't have a card in his camera. I had an extra and lent it to him. He's returning it with the pictures still on it, so I'm hoping to be able to post some even more amazing pics soon. Until then - here are the pictures from my point and shoot.
Pictures from the top of Fall Creek Falls.
A really cool spider web on the walk down to the falls.
If you look closely you can see the spider inside.
At the bottom of the falls. The "fog" that you see is the mist from the water fall.
Some trees at the Nature Center.
Another water fall at the park. There was actually two of them.
The first one is a tiny one to the left of the main water fall.
Looking down the river from the falls.
Was able to capture this rainbow.
This suspension bridge is at the top of the previous waterfalls.
Below the bridge.
The metal rope had worn this smooth shape into the tree.
The view from a stopping spot on the way to the last waterfall.
The last waterfall of the day. There is supposed to be another one somewhere in the park, but it's a 4 mile hike. We didn't think the kids were up to that.
The picture is a bit blurry because I was facing the setting sun as we got there.
Weird rock on the hike.
A close up of the water fall through the trees.
The river above the falls. I love the leaning tree.
