I posted this on the kids blog, but I love the action shot and how much fun they were getting out of one little spay of water.

St. Louis Arch - Sorta

Some of my pictures from our aborted Arch trip.

We hope to return this fall when it's cooler and less crowded.

 The river had overflowed onto the street.

 

 It's beautiful, but very difficult to get a picture because the city has crowded right up to it.

 

 

Kansas Summer Days

The summer heat seems to slow us down and make us take life more simply.

I woke up early in the morning to run since the heat stayed around 100 during the day.

The sun rise was beautiful and the light seemed perfect for taking pictures.

We like the things that summer brings.

It brings the sun.

It brings the heat.

It brings the things we like to eat.
